What the... February??

Justin: So it’s almost February… How odd is that? Did we just skip over January all together this year? I thought I heard something swooshing by… good thing I have the bills on autodraft.
As most of you know, Stace, Oscar, and I traveled during the week of Christmas to Missouri and spent the week with her friends and family. After visiting the Show Me State, we caught up with my peoples for the New Years weekend. Despite the mileage it was a great trip. It was good to see everyone and there was much rejoicing and celebrating of our engagement and the holidays. along the way Stace cut 12” off of her hair and Oscar had 5 teeth removed.

Hmm.. what else…

January has obviously been pretty quiet. We are just now cleaning up Christmas ornaments and putting things away, much to Stace’s dismay. The year has started off in “Planning Mode”. Our current irons in the fire are New Jobs, Home Renovation, Debt Reduction, and of course, The Wedding in September. We are off to a good start, I think, but if anyone has a successful idea they would like to submit, feel free. We are always up for suggestions.
I will say that budgeting weekly Powerball Ticket money was shot down rather quickly, which I personally feel is tragic.

We visited some friends of mine in the mountains a couple of weekends ago, but that is about the extent of our recent travels.

I’ll post some pictures when I get my PC back up and running as I’ve been experimenting with a Linux Ubuntu (Dapper) build… I like it, however for the gaming and multimedia I do it’s just not fitting the bill and I don’t have the patience to make it work. Things should be back to normal in the next day or so.
