FINALLY, some posted wedding weekend pictures

So I've funally figured out how to post quite a few of the pictures from that weekend up somewhere that people can readily view them and that will be through flickr.com.

Now it's just too bad that most you who check this lil blurp of thoughts were either actually there or have already seen them. Anyway, these are the shots from friends and family.

Enjoy.

Work Site

Justin: You know... the work site actually makes it look like I know what I'm doing.
Say it with me: SWEET.

By the way, the one of Stace with the Christmas lights is one of my all time favorites.

Who We're Listening To

Justin: So... in case you haven't noticed, this is becoming a "What the heck is on Justin's mind" type of blog as my writer wife doesn't post anything these days... (HINT HINT, HONEY)

Anyway, our current Winamp playlist includes Lazlo Bane, The Killers (who do not sound like their name, by the way, however their latest CD, Sawdust is a bit heavier then their previous works), and The Trashcan Sinatras. I highly recommend them.
http://www.myspace.com/lazlobaneofficial - however their most favorite song of mine, "Are You Having a Good Time" is not available on this page. Find it if you can.

Also, if you haven't heard them, I'm not sure if I posted their website where you can sample their music - The New Familiars: http://www.myspace.com/thenewfamiliars These are the guys I shot on Halloween at the Halloween Hootenanny. They are a bit rock-a-billy and 100% entertaining.

Oh, and if you like good TV, check out Mike Rowe on Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs".

By the way, I would also like to take up underwater photography. Just saying.

Be safe.

High Contrast

A shot of some blossoms in the front yard. I like this one for its drama, which I am finally figuring out makes a distinctive photograph.

Gotta love being self taught. The speed in which one discovers is amazing. (That was sarcasm, by the way)

Exploring the minds of others

Justin: I can only hope that most of you, when you have time and after checking up on us, click the "Next Blog" button in the top left of the header and check out what other people are thinking and are up to. That will send you to other blogs randomly. Or at least click on a site's links on the right to send you off to places they find interesting. After checking in our friend Lynn's site, I noticed some of her links and tried out a few.
There is one that is rather spectacular and I highly recommend you check it out: http://www.thewee1.blogspot.com/

I would describe it, but that would give it away. Enjoy.

Be safe.

Some new work

Justin: So I'm not sure who caught the post on the work site, however I did some work for an event here in the neighborhood - the Halloween Hootenanny. I posted a few shots on the work site, however the full posts are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dadestreetstudios/ . Let me know your thoughts.

Be safe and well.
