The Passing of Time

It's funny that I was so surprised that it had been 30 days or so since the one before it and here it is almost 60 since that one... Not "funny - ha, ha" more "funny- anvil on the head" kind of funny.
Well, we simply cannot believe it has been almost a year since the wedding. It's astounding, really. Cooper is over a year old, Hayden is what, almost 8? Hannah is not a baby any longer and Max is taller then her mom; Porter is 2 years old and we've been married a year. Craziness.

Well, last year I said that 2008 was going to be my "Effing" year (finances, fitness and fotos) and so far I've done pretty well with keeping to that. Stace and I have refinanced the house and are getting our debts consolidated and knocked out, my photos have been published in several magazines and newspapers around town, and I've lost some weight along the way. See? Not too bad! Need to up the fitness and fotos part a notch, but still, it's a good start.

Stace is doing well. She's in Wilmington this weekend as she is staffing the Wilmington YMCA Triathlon. She was running around the house this morning looking for a bathing suit... Evidently "when in Wilmington, you HAVE to get in the ocean". I asked her to make sure there are pictures. I don't know what I'll be doing... Probably yard work and some repairs around the house. I know, I'm such an extrovert. I think I mentioned that she had a good article published in the Charlotte Fitness mag over the summer, didn't I?

AUTUMN is ALMOST HERE! We're so excited. Okay, I'M so excited. This is my favorite time of year. We're also excited that we're going back to the Village for our anniversary weekend. THAT should be FUN. As a married couple, we are doing well. We're finally working through some egos and insecurities and are acting more as a team. It's a very refreshing feeling. We decided last night that we've been making this much more difficult then it really is.

Okay, I've got to get back to work.

I hope everyone is safe and happy.
