Tuesday 4.17.07

Justin: Not too much has been going on... We've been knocking out wedding plans and playing with dogs while trying to maintain some semblence of social worth. I met my family in Blowing Rock, NC over the weekend and came away with a couple of pictures that were not too bad. The small cascade shots and the snowy one were from there. Believe it or not there are some decent falls just off Main St. in downtown Blowing Rock. Well, the big ones are about a mile and a half down the trail, but that's just enough to make it a fun hike. I didn't get to see those as it was getting late in the day and there were other plans to be followed, but they are there. We at least got to spend some time at these cascades.
And then there is the freak snow... We woke up to a foggy morning with the sun burning off the haze and by noon it was snowing like it was February. Truly a spectacle.
Stace ran 14 miles on Saturday morning (say it with me: WHOO HOO!) and stayed home to watch after the little ones.. well, one little one and Porter (who thinks he's a little one). Did you see the pictues yet? The first one is from Feb., not long after we brought him home and the other was this evening. Good thing I got my tax return.. it's expensive to keep feeding him horses.
Ok, I'm off to see about salvaging a few more photos.
